Grassed area and Cherry Blossom - Shinjuku Gyoen Tokyo

I found the brown grass a bit of difficult concept to adjust to. Coming from Australia where the grass is green in winter and brown in late summer. It was the reverse in Tokyo with the cold and snow affecting the grass over winter. <br>
Shinjuku Gyoen National Park (Shinjuku Tokyo) is one of the top Japanese gardens in Japan. It features three distinct styes: French Formal, English Landscape and Japanese traditional. It is very popular in cherry blossom season with its 1,500 cherry trees.
