Kinmeisui Well and Roof - Osaka Castle

Kinmeisui Well was the most important well in Osaka Castle. Kinmeisui Well was constructed in 1624 including the stone lining. The roof was added two years later. Kinmeisui Well was originally called Ogonsui (Golden Water) Well. Kinmeisui Well is designated by the Japanese Government as an Important Cultural Property. Osaka Castle (a Japanese Castle) is the most famous landmark in Osaka. The Japanese gardens around Osaka Castle are very popular in cherry blossom season. 6010
