JAPAN FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS

The Japan Festival would not have been possible without the assistance of all the volunteers who gave their time to help make it a very successful festival. The volunteers were from the following groups: Japan Club of Victoria, Japanese Consulate-General, Australia-Japan Society, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Melbourne, St John Ambulance and Japanese Society of Melbourne. All of the performers appeared free of charge including those who attended from Japan. The committee of the Japan Club of Victoria worked particularly hard to ensure the festival was professionally organised.

Waste reduction and management was provided by the volunteers from JEE (Japan Environmental Exchange).
