Printing Museum, Tokyo
Printing museum, located in Suido, exhibits printing culture. It
includes Kelly automatic high-speed printer and The Works of Geoffrey
Chaucer, Kelmscott Press.
Tokyo Dome
The dome has a nickname of "BIG EGG". It is the home field of the
Yomiuri Giants baseball team. Concerts are also held in the dome.
Tokyo Dome City
Tokyo Dome City is former Korakuen Amusement Park. It contains
commercial facility “La Qua”, and you can enjoy not only entertainment
but also shopping and spa.

Eisei Bunko
Eisei Bunko, located in Mejirodai, is a private gallery which
focuses on Japanese and Eastern antique arts. It exhibits the
collection of the Hosokawa family, the lord of old Kumamoto Domain. It
contains a number of national treasures.
Koishikawa Ukiyo-e Museum
It exhibits Ukiyo-e, genre paintings of Edo Period.
Rekisen Park
Rekisen Park was built at the east side of Koishikawa highland. It
contains double-deck cascades of Italian Renaissance park-making
method.
Tokyo National Cemetery
The cemetery is located next to the Rekisen Park. It is a
metropolitan facility to console the souls of people died in the World
War II.
Koishikawa Korakuen Park
The park is closely related to the Mito Tokugawa family. It has a
pond and it is considered historic site and scenic beauty. Mitsukuni
Tokugawa, also known as Mito-Komon, completed the park. It is close to
Suidobashi Station and Korakuen Station.
Koishikawa Botanical Garden
It is a Botanical Garden affiliated with the Department of
Chemistry, School of Science, the University of Tokyo. There are not
only academic attractions such as the gingko tree that contributed to
the discovery of its sperm, Isaac Newton’s apple tree and Gregor
Johann Mendel’s grape tree, but also nice places for walk around. The
closest station is Myogadani Station.
Koishikawa Shrine
Koishikawa Shrine was separated from Ise Shrine on 7 March 1966.
It is located in the city core and it blends with tall buildings
surrounding it. It considers itself a Tokyo branch of Ise Shrine.
Kodansha Noma Memorial Museum
Kodansha is a major Japanese publisher, headquartered in Otoha. It
was founded by Seiji Noma.
Kodokan Institute
Kodokan, established by Jigoro Kano, is the headquarters of the
judo world. It is located just next to the Tokyo Dome City.
Takehisa Yumeji Museum
Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934) is a Japanese painter as well as a
poet.
Tachihara Michizo Memorial Museum
The museum is located in front of the Yayoi Gate of Tokyo
University. It exhibits works of Michizo Tachihara, poet and
architect.
Denzuin Temple
Denzuin Temple is formally called Muryozan Denzuin Jikyuji Temple.
It was a family temple of Tokugawa Shogun Family. Kafu Nagai, a
Japanese novelist, placed his story in this temple.

Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum
The museum is located within the Tokyo Dome. It is known as
Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.
Yayoi Museum
Yayoi Museum is next to Takehisa Yumeji Museum.
Yushima Temple
The Temple was built by the fifth-generation Tokugawa Shogun,
Tsunayoshi, to enshrine Confucius. It used to be Shoheizaka School of
Edo Shogunate. It is very close to Ochanomizu Station.
Yushima Tenjin Shrine
The shrine is dedicated to the god of wisdom, Michizane Sugawara.
There is a Japanese plum tree garden within the site, and plum tree
festival is annually held from February to March. The closest station
is Yushima.
Yanesen (Yanaka, Nezu, Sendagi)
In this area, there are historical street still remained, which
make this downtown area attractive. This area consists of three parts,
and the name “Yanesen” is a combination of the first few letters of
each part’s name.
Rikugien Garden
The garden was built by Yoshiyasu Yanagisawa, and attendant of
Tsunayoshi Tokugawa.
Gokokuji Temple
The Temple was built inspired by Kensyoin, the mother of
Tsunayoshi Tokugawa. There are graves of famous politicians such as
Shigenobu Okuma, Aritomo Yamagata and Mitsuaki Tanaka.
Toyoshimagaoka Cemetery
Members of the royal family after Meiji Period are buried in this
cemetery. Generally it is not open to the public.
Otsuka Senju Cemetery
Scholars of Confucianism in Edo Period are buried in this
cemetery.
