HAKONE ROPEWAY

Hakone Ropeway provides scenic views of Hakone and Mt Fuji on a clear day. The Hakone Ropeway runs between Sounzan and Togendai.

The Hakone Ropeway (箱根ロープウェイ Hakone Rōpuwei) is the aerial lift (funitel line) that links Sōunzan and Togendai, all within Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan. The line became funitel in 2002, the second of its kind in Japan. The Hakone Ropeway is part of the sightseeing route between Odawara and Lake Ashi. See also the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway.
