SANNO SHRINE
Sanno Shrine is famous for its stone torii that only
has one leg, with the other being blown off in the nuclear blast.
The Sannō Shrine (山王神社 ,Sannō Jinja), located about 900
metres south-east of the atomic bomb hypocentre in Nagasaki,
Japan, is noted for its one-legged stone torii. One of the legs
of the stone gate was slapped down by the ferocious blast wind of the atomic
bomb explosion.
